“Should the U.S. allow Israel ...” headline from April 6. “Should Canada allow U.S. to bomb N. Korea” would be the same kind of ignorant (and that’s putting it kindly) question.
The last time I actually thought of Israel, it was and still is (like the U.S.) an independent nation/country. Also, the last time I thought about it, any independent nations may do as they please. Intelligent ones usually do so with some council with like minded countries who believe in protecting their people. Seems like I remember a nuclear reactor that was bombed that was outside of the bombing country’s borders.
I remember the far left’s and right’s distress that Israel at that time decided while everyone was twiddling their thumbs, Israel said, “Pardon us while we take care of the problem.” Seems to me that Israel is quite capable of making intelligent decisions concerning their nations security.
Allow-pressure-council — I can understand two of those three, but allow? How can such a presumptuous question be asked? If the Canada question above were the headline, most every U.S. citizen would be questioning that question as most any Israeli would be to the one in the April 6 TCH.
