Community conversation: the tea party movement

Whatever your thoughts on the tea party movement -- good, bad or indifferent -- you'll have a chance to share them in September.

Every few months we invite the community to a conversation on an issue affecting public life. We spend a couple of evenings exploring a topic, and the whole thing is lead by a moderator from the Dispute Resolution Center of Tri-Cities.

The tea party will be the topic of our next community conversation. It is a two-night event, and you must be able to attend both evenings. It is scheduled Sept. 21 and 22.

If you would like to participate please send your name, address, phone number and a brief (25 words or less) description of your interest in the subject. Write to forum@tricityherald.com or Tri-City Herald, 333 W. Canal Drive, Kennewick, WA 99336 by Sept. 16.
