Best Christmas ever: I gave birth to my daughter, Cassandre, on December 22, 1963, at Kadlec. Back then, there was a requirement of five days stay in the hospital. Since I had natural childbirth and had no drugs in my system or in my baby’s system, I said I’m not going to be in the hospital for Christmas because I’m not sick, so I took my baby home on Christmas morning. My sister and her husband had come down from Seattle to greet us and she told me she was pregnant. Our daughters are six months apart. Best Christmas ever!
