Arthur L. Pierce

Arthur LeRoy Pierce, 94, of Kennewick, died Aug. 23 in Kennewick.

He was born in Idalou, Texas, and lived in the Tri-Cities area for 57 years.

He was a retired chemist for Phillips Petroleum in Finley.

Mueller’s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

Dirk Martin Sr.

Dirk Martin Sr., 86, of Kennewick, died Aug. 21 in Prosser.

He was born in Marion, Ind., and lived in the Tri-Cities since 2004.

He was a retired manager.

Einan’s at Sunset, Richland, is in charge of arrangements.

Dung ‘D.T’ Luu

Dung “D.T” Luu, 51, of Pasco, died Aug. 20 at Maui Memorial Center in Maui, Hawaii.

He was born in Rach Gia, Vietnam, and lived in the Tri-Cities for 40 years.

He was a nuclear operator at the Hanford site.
