She was born in Pasco and lived in Pasco for many years before moving out of the area in 1965.
She was a retired social worker and lecturer at the University of Hawaii.
Her body was donated to the University of Hawaii Medical School for teaching purposes.

Darrell Henry Dowd, 83, died Jan. 29 at home in Richland.
He was born in Weston, Ore., and lived in the Tri-City area since 2018.
He was a retired dry land wheat farm laborer.

Jose “Lupe” Guadalupe Rodriguez Cantu, 86, of Mabton, died Jan. 28 in Zillah.
He was born in Nuevo Leon Montemorelos, Mexico, and was a longtime Lower Yakima Valley resident.
He was a retired laborer.
