On Friday afternoon, the Kamiakin Braves will take on perennial state champ Bellevue for the high school football 3A title at the Gridiron Classic. Yeah, it's kind of a big deal.
Kamiakin is undefeated this season. In fact, it hasn't really come close to losing a game. Bellevue has won seven of the last nine 3A state titles, including the last two. You might recall that one of the few times in the past decade that Bellevue didn't win was when Prosser was a 3A team and beat Bellevue and its Wing-T offense at Lampson Stadium back when Kellen Moore was a prep star.
So as you prepare for Friday's big game (kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. in Tacoma), you can relive the entire Kamiakin season. We put together a section that includes:
