Another Hanford worker has been given a medical evaluation as a precaution after reporting an odor consistent with chemical vapors near a Hanford tank farm.
The worker smelled the odor Tuesday morning while walking near the AP Tank Farm and was clear to return to work later in the morning, according to Washington River Protection Solutions.
No work was underway in the AP Tank Farm at the time.
The incident brings the total number of workers to 37 who have been given medical evaluations for possible exposure to chemical vapors from Hanford waste held in underground tanks over the last four months.
