A crowd approaching 80,000 is expected for the popular Hanford Health and Safety Expo on Tuesday and Wednesday at TRAC in Pasco.
Last year 77,000 people attended the event as measured by clicks through the turnstile, and each year it tends to draw more people.
The free event from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day attracts a core group of Hanford workers, but its many hands-on activities also draw families and daycare and school groups.
Some popular exhibits will be back, including the distracted driving car of the Hanford Patrol. Software simulates distractions such as talking on a cell phone.
