• The following students earned degrees from Washington University in St. Louis:



David Richmond, son of Nancy and Bill Richmond of Richland, graduated with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering. Richmond graduated from Richland High School in 2010.

Orma Ravindranath, daughter of Rashmi and Thaliyadath Ravindranath of Kennewick, graduated with honors with a bachelor of arts in philosophy-neuroscience-psychology and music. Ravindranath received the Antoinette Frances Dames Award for productive scholarship in music. Ravindranath graduated from Southridge High School.

• Renke Huang of Richland has earned a doctor of philosophy in electrical and computer engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.
