Connell man injured in two-car crash near Moses Lake
A Connell man was injured Saturday afternoon when his car hit the back of another car as it was slowing to make a right turn.
Jacob A. Reichert, 22, was taken to Samaritan Healthcare in Moses Lake for treatment following the 4:50 p.m. crash.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Maria A. Cortes was driving her 2007 Red Honda Civic north on Highway 17, three miles south of Moses Lake, when she slowed down to turn onto Road M S.E.

Reichert, who also was northbound in his 2008 Mazda hatchback, then rear ended the Honda.
Cortes, 41, of Othello, was uninjured. She and Reichert were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, a state patrol report said.
Reichert reportedly was cited for speeding too fast to avoid a collision.
