A West Richland driver rear-ended a stopped car and was cited for driving too closely Wednesday in Richland, the Washington State Patrol reported.
Ivan O. Longoria, 29, of West Richland, was driving a 2001 Honda Civic east on Van Giesen Road at Highway 240 at 8:40 a.m. when he crashed into the back of a 2009 Kia Rondo driven by Charlene D. Agripino, 55, of Benton City, the state patrol said.
Agripino was injured and taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, the state patrol said. Longoria was not injured.
Longoria was cited for following too closely, the state patrol said.
