A Franklin County deputy on patrol early Sunday morning discovered a semi truck and trailer that had rolled onto its side on Blanton Road near Coordes Road about 20 miles north of Pasco.
Northwest Medstar was called to fly the driver, a 32-year-old Richland man, to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. His injuries were nonlife-threatening, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. The driver’s name was not released.
The sheriff’s office continues to investigate the cause of the crash discovered by Deputy George Rapp at 1:08 a.m. Fatigue may have been a factor, the sheriff’s office said.
