A Richland garbage collection truck driver was hospitalized Thursday after crashing the truck into a concrete wall.
The truck drove off the Vantage highway and hit the wall around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, said a news release. No other vehicles were involved.
The driver was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center to be checked.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating the crash, and the city will conduct its own investigation.
This is the second Richland garbage truck to crash in less than a month. The first truck displaced a family of five on May 20 on Riverstone Drive when it ran into their house.
