Kennewick police have identified two men allegedly involved in an armed robbery over the weekend at Columbia Center mall.
Jered Anthony Webber-Krom, 22, was arrested Monday and is accused of being the getaway driver in the June 6 robbery, police said.
He was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of first-degree robbery.
Travis D. Lemaster, 19, has been identified as the suspect who allegedly pulled a gun on three men in the parking lot, demanding their wallets. He has not been arrested and may be carrying a small-caliber handgun.
One of the victims grabbed the gun during the robbery, causing it to go off, police said. He suffered a minor injury to his hand.
Police found a Buick, the car believed to be used in the robbery, on Sunday at a house on the 900 block of Canal Drive. It appears the suspects ditched the car there.
Members of the Tri-Cities Regional SWAT team surrounded the house after the car was found. The front door was open despite residents telling police they locked it when they left.
No one was inside when the SWAT team entered. It’s unclear if the house was broken into.
Anyone with information on Lemaster’s whereabouts is asked to call the Benton County nonemergency line at 509-628-0333.
