A Benton City man was arrested early Wednesday morning after he was found rummaging through a Kennewick resident’s vehicle.
A man living in the 2900 block of west Seventh Avenue saw Raymond J. Reyes, 33, in his neighbor’s car about 2:30 a.m., said Kennewick police. Reyes walked away quickly from the vehicle after the man confronted him.
Police were called and picked up Reyes a few blocks west of the car he was found in and told police he was looking for change so he could get a drink.
Reyes was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of theft.
