Authorities arrested a 26-year-old man after his ex-girlfriend reported he came to her house and several gunshots were fired off.
Benton County deputies responded to a disturbance call Tuesday night in the 1200 block of S. Missimer Rd. in Prosser.
A woman reported her ex-boyfriend, Jose Lupercio, was yelling outside of the house for her new boyfriend to come out and fight, according to the sheriff’s office. The woman then heard several gunshots.
Authorities found several shell casings in front of the house and believe Lupercio fired shots into the air before leaving, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies eventually tracked Lupercio to a house in Grandview and arrested him on suspicion of felony harassment. He was booked into the Benton County jail.
