Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers and Benton County sheriff's deputies are looking for a sex offender who failed to tell authorities where he is living.
Steven Raymond Wilson Jr., 44, was last known to be living in Yakima but is now thought to be in the Tri-Cities.
Wilson is6 feet, 165 pounds with brown hair, blue eyes, scars on his left hand, right hand and right finger, and a tattoo on his right forearm.
Wilson was convicted earlier this year of communication with a minor for immoral purposes and was released from custody June 25. He is classified as a Level 1 sex offender, meaning he is considered a low risk to offender.
He is charged with failing to register as a sex offender. He also has three warrants for his arrest for failing to comply with court orders.
Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers pays a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that results in a felony arrest.
Anyone with information about Wilson's whereabouts can call 586-8477 or go to www.tricitiescrimestoppers.org. Tips also can be sent by text message by writing "Text TIP 411" plus the message to CRIMES (274637).
All calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential.
Sex offender reports he is staying in Pasco
A sex offender considered highly likely to reoffend has told authorities he doesn't have a permanent place to live but is staying in Pasco.
David Micheal Kreienbrink, 31, is 6-foot-2, 260 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes. He has multiple scars and tattoos, along with a double piercing in his tongue and a piercing on his lip.
He was convicted in 1999 of second-degree rape of a child in Pierce County and in April of failing to register as a sex offender. He is classified as a Level 3 sex offender.
Kreienbrink is not wanted by police, but he is required to tell them where he is living. Without a permanent address, he will be required to make weekly check-ins with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
