A 56-year-old man was arrested Saturday after he crashed his vehicle into several concrete barriers at Howard Amon Park in Richland.
Although there were people in the park, no one was injured when Gary Ross Menefee drove his vehicle into the barriers on Amon Park Drive just north of Newton Street about 7:15 p.m.
His vehicle got stuck on the damaged barriers and prevented his vehicle from getting onto the grass, Richland police reported.
Menefee was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving with a license suspended and operating a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock device as required. He was booked into the Benton County jail.
