Prosser Falls student expelled in knife incident

PROSSER -- A student at Prosser Falls High School was emergency expelled Thursday for allegedly having a knife at school.

A staff member at the school was made aware of the weapon and confiscated it, said Superintendent Ray Tolcacher. The school didn't have to be locked down.

The knife wasn't used to threaten anyone, Tolcacher said.

The student's name and grade weren't released.
