Assistant coach allegedly sent naked videos, photos to Connell student
A former assistant Connell High track coach allegedly flooded a student’s text messages with naked videos and photos of himself.
Jackson Forsyth, 19, allegedly took two photos and 28 videos inside his Connell home in the span of two hours on July 20 and sent them to a female high school student he knows, court documents said.
Franklin County prosecutors recently charged him with five counts of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes. He pleaded innocent Tuesday.
Forsyth, a Connell High School graduate, was hired in February to work with a new track and field coach, a Facebook post said.
Superintendent Brian Moore said he wasn’t a teacher and resigned his coaching position this summer.
“Anytime there is a criminal allegation, we’re going to work really closely with the local police,” Moore said. “We’ve been working really closely with the sheriff’s office on this.”
Photos and videos
Forsyth was allegedly “very intoxicated” when he began texting the teen, according to a Franklin County Sheriff’s Office analysis of the messages. The first video, recorded at 4:30 a.m., showed him in a car saying that he wasn’t going to get caught.
Then about 5 a.m., he allegedly started sending the naked photos and videos. In the last videos, which were recorded about 6:40 a.m., he told the teen that he wanted to have sex with her boyfriend, who is also a student, court documents said.
The girl told her mother about the images, and they contacted sheriff’s officials.
