A Mesa woman didn’t notice traffic slowing along Highway 395 before colliding with two vehicles Thursday, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Saundra L. Worsham, 67, was nearing the Pasco city limits in a Cadillac CTS at 12:14 p.m. when she struck a Nissan Sentra and an Acura SUV, the state patrol said.
Worsham was taken to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco and was in the emergency room Thursday afternoon.
The Nissan’s driver, Valentin Birrueta-Contreras, 28, of Pasco, was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. He is in critical condition.
The Acura’s driver, Emily S. Tyler, 38, of Millbrae, Calif., was not injured.
Worsham was cited for second-degree negligent driving.
