Someone tagged their political view across the sign of the U.S. District Courthouse in Richland on Election Day.
The suspect ran from John Dam Plaza park in the dark hours of the morning to spray paint “F—- Hillary. F—- Trump,” said Public Affairs Officer Chad Hutson. Surveillance video shows the person painting the phrases and running away just after midnight.
Federal employees found the graffiti at 7 a.m. Tuesday and within three hours it was cleaned off.
Federal Protective Services is investigating with the help of the Richland Police Department.
Hutson said it was hard to identify the suspect from the video, but asks people with information to call the Richland police at 509-942-7340.
