Two hit-and-run crashes led to a pair being arrested Sunday morning in Kennewick.
Kenia Leal, 19, of Pasco, was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court and for driving with a suspended license. She allegedly crashed through a fence, near the intersection of North Yelm Street and Highway 395, then tried to drive away.
Ivan Valdez, 23, of Pasco, was arrested for DUI and hit-and-run after he reportedly hit two parked cars, near the intersection of North Buntin Street and West Albany Avenue, and tried to flee, said police.
Witnesses called 911 and reported him running away, which helped officers find him “limping” several blocks away, said Sgt. Ken Lattin.
