A teen driver was cited after the pickup he was driving slammed into the back of a parked car early Saturday in Kennewick.
The pickup was on Garfield Street and Sixth Avenue about midnight when the young driver took his eyes off the road and drove into the back of a parked gray sedan, said Kennewick police. The car’s back end was demolished.
Police cited the teen for improper lane use. No one was hurt. Police did not release the driver’s name or age.
The wreck closed Garfield Street for some time, police said.
