Many children charged out for high fives and candy as hundreds gathered to see Pasco’s Grand Old Fourth of July 2016 parade. The parade is just one of many events taking place from now until dusk this July 4.
In Pasco, the celebrations continue up to the Grand Old 4th Fireworks at 10 p.m. in Gesa Stadium. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.
The 30th annual River of Fire Festival at Columbia Park in Kennewick opened its gates at 7 a.m. and continues throughout the day. There will be an Abraham Lincoln impersonator at 4 p.m. before three bands play from 5 to 8:45 p.m. The Kennewick fireworks also begin at 10 p.m.
