Families Anonymous to host weekly meetings at Richland church

Families Anonymous, a 12-step recovery program for the families and friends of addicts, meets from 7-8:30 p.m. every Tuesday in the basement of Columbia Foursquare Church, 700 Comstock St. in Richland. Newcomers are welcome.

Families Anonymous is a support group designed to help individuals to deal with the challenges and problems they face with an addict in their lives. The meetings and discussions are geared towards adults and adolescents, ages 16 and older.

Newcomers are encouraged to attend at least six meetings before they commit to becoming a member of the group. There are no fees, and no cost to join. Meeting attendance is voluntary, and payment is by donation.
