The Lady Washington, a full-scale reproduction of the original Lady Washington built in the British Colony of Massachusetts in the 1750s, locks past McNary Dam on Monday on its journey down the Columbia River to Arlington, Ore.
The 112-foot brig, the state’s official tall ship, departed after spending 10 days in the Tri-Cities for tours and sailing events.
McNary Lock and Dam staff allowed access to the north side of the navigation lock to allow visitors a closer look at the tall ship.
