‘Reach Through Art’ reception, panel discussion planned Aug. 7 at Reach center in Richland

An artist’s reception and panel discussion are planned Aug. 7 to celebrate the third cycle of the Reach Through Art program at the Reach center in Richland.

Reach Through Art features pieces that touch on themes of the museum and interpretive center. The event is 6 to 8 p.m.

The artwork is chosen by a juried panel and will be on display for six months.

The artists with featured work are: Marc Stevenson, Rory Hollick, Kathy Dee, Gail Roadhouse, Corrine Johnson, Leslie Hauer, Maggie Remington, Margo Fox, David Wyatt, Gary Bailey, Jan Nilsson, Steven A. Smith and Michael G. Warren.

Admission is free to artists and their families. Cost is $7 for the public and $5 for students, seniors age 65 and older and military members.
