The first nine participants of a new leadership program for young business owners will graduate May 27 during an evening ceremony.
The Tri-City Development Council’s Young Professionals of the Tri-Cities program prepares young entrepreneurs for membership on nonprofit boards.
They attended eight classes taught by community members who stressed the responsibilities of belonging to a board and the importance of developing professional relationships within nonprofits.
The first nine graduates are: Eryn Brooks of AEM Consulting; Jenna Coddington of Paragon Corporate Housing; Jacob Gonzales of Benton-Franklin Council of Governments; Arthur Job of Job Nursery; P. Simon Mahler of SCORE; Leo Martinez of Numerica; Corey Osborn of the city of Kennewick; Grethen Guerrero of Visit Tri-Cities; and Ericka Zink of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
The ceremony is at 6 p.m. at the Tri-Cities Business & Visitor Center, 7130 Grandridge Blvd. in Kennewick.
