WSU Tri-Cities official trusted with connecting to community

Washington State University Tri-Cities' newest vice chancellor will be charged developing the Richland campus and connecting with the community.

The university announced Ken Fincher's hiring Wednesday in a release.

Fincher previously worked in leadership with the Boy Scouts of America, American Red Cross, USO, Shorter University of Georgia and Sears Methodist Retirement System. He holds a doctorate in psychology from the University of the Rockies.

"Ken will be instrumental in continuing to grow our campus into a premier destination for students, faculty, staff and our community," said Chancellor Keith Moo-Young in the release.
