WISH LIST: Other organizations also seek help

Several other local organizations also submitted needs for the Holiday Wish List series.

-- United Way of Benton & Franklin Counties: Donations from those who may not already support a particular charity or aren't sure where their dollars can make the most impact. The nonprofit helps fund numerous programs and agencies in the community. Contact: 783-4102, www.unitedway-bfco.com.

-- Kennewick Perry Suites: Donations for a gazebo, garden shed and an outdoor swing or glider at the 14-unit apartment complex being built for adults with disabilities. Contact: 783-7226 or ms_elena_brown@yahoo.com.

-- 5150 To Recovery: Items for an auction in March that will raise money for a phone line to offer support to those dealing with mental illness. The organization, formed to educate about mental illness and advocate for better community systems, also needs office supplies and office space. Contact: 851-3187, or kevsterxc4083@yahoo.com.

-- Tri-Cities Pregnancy Network: Donations of new cribs and mattresses or Walmart gift cards to buy cribs. The organization, which provides support to those who are pregnant and to parents, also needs diapers size newborn to 4, unscented baby wipes and new or gently used clothes, blankets, strollers, maternity wear and other baby items for its boutique. -- Rascal Rodeo: An Apple MacBook Pro, an 8-by-14-foot Continental Cargo trailer and adult and youth cowboy hats, deputy sheriff badges and western style bandanas. Rascal Rodeo puts on faux rodeo events for the mentally and physically disabled. Contact: 528-5947, www.rascalrodeo.org.
