An 8-month-old Kennewick boy died Saturday after he suffocated in his stroller.

Benton County Coroner John Hansens said Benjamin Momotok’s death was an accident.

Momotok’s mother put him in the stroller for 30 minutes to an hour and when she checked on him he wasn’t breathing, said Kennewick police. The boy apparently slid down in the stroller and a crossbar blocked his airway.

An autopsy on Monday found no signs of abuse. The boy’s parents are Yuriy and Lyubov Momotok.
