Law enforcement agencies across Benton and Franklin counties will have extra DUI patrols starting next week that will run through the end of the month.
The patrols will not only be looking for drunken drivers, but drivers under the influence of marijuana, according to the Benton-Franklin Traffic Safety Task Force.
The patrols from Aug. 16 to Sept. 2 are part of the annual Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.
Last year's campaign netted 70 DUI arrests, the task force said. There were 1,312 DUI arrests in both counties in 2012.
