Columbia Basin Badger Club's next lunchtime forum will delve into the rights of business owners "when matters of faith, personal values, beliefs and rights collide."
The forum is at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Richland Red Lion, 802 George Washington Way.
Beth Barrett Bloom, a Seattle attorney specializing in employment and labor law who has worked with groups such as the ACLU of Washington, is scheduled to speak along with Pastor David Parker of Central Church in Richland.
The topic is timely in light of a couple of recent local events, including the Arlene's Flowers case in Richland.
The public is invited to the Badger Club forum, although only members may ask questions of speakers. Cost is $20 for members and $22 for others.
