3 injured in head-on collision in Mesa

Three people were taken to the hospital Friday morning after a head-on collision on Highway 17 in Mesa, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Daisha L. Hall, 20, of Walla Walla, lost control of her Ford Crown Victoria on a curve and collided head-on with Erin L. McLain, 21, of Kennewick, who was driving a Mitsubishi Lancer, WSP said. The crash happened just after 8 a.m.

Both drivers and Hall's passenger, Ronnie C. Hulce, 19, of Waitsburg, were taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

Hall and Hulce were treated and later released. McLain was listed in stable condition Friday night.

Both cars were totaled, and WSP is investigating the crash.
