A Pasco man is being held at the Franklin County jail after allegedly trying to burn down his family's house.
Misael Rodriguez, 43, burned part of the house on the 900 block of West Agate Street before he was arrested, said Pasco police Capt. Jim Raymond. Rodriguez' family was able to escape uninjured and the house sustained "some damage."
Rodriguez was mentally unstable when he allegedly lit the fire Saturday, Raymond said. Police found a small amount of cocaine on him.
Raymond declined to say how many people were in the house, where Rodriguez also lives, when the fire started.
