Domestic Violence Services of Benton and Franklin Counties is offering a volunteer advocacy training.
The training allows volunteers to work in the shelter and provide other services at the center.
Training covers advocacy-based counseling, working with children, answering crisis calls, legal advocacy and a basic overview of domestic violence issues.
The training will be held Aug. 9-18.
