Pasco woman hurt in 3-car crash on Highway 240

A Pasco woman was injured in a three-car collision at 5:20 p.m. Thursday on Highway 240 just east of Columbia Center Boulevard in Kennewick.

Christopher Schultz, 39, of Richland was driving a Suburban east and failed to slow for traffic, according to the Washington State Patrol.

His SUV hit a Nissan Maxima driven by Manuela Martinez-Barragan, 27, of Pasco. Her car then hit a pickup driven by Matthew Funk, 37, of Prosser.

Martinez-Barragan was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, according to police reports. The other two drivers were not injured.
