HERMISTON - Oregon State Police believe that a middle-age man was driving the pickup that hit a Hermiston woman Friday and left without stopping.
Officers are asking for the public's help as they continue to work to identify the driver.
He was driving what is believed to be a newer model white pickup with a white canopy.
Lindalee Lynette Lerossignol, 60, was walking north on the west side of the 80900 block of Highway 395 when she was hit by the pickup at the driveway to a business. The pickup then drove south.

She remembers a woman repeatedly yelling, "I saw everything," and directing traffic for a short time. However, police have not been able to find the woman.
Lerossignol was taken to a Portland hospital, but her injuries are not life threatening, according to police.
