A 31-year-old Kennewick man died Saturday afternoon from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after Benton County sheriff's deputies were called to Cochran Road in Finley for a report about a man with a gun.
Deputies made cellphone contact with Zachary I. Kozelisky, but after a short time he hung up and shot himself.
Kozelisky was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, were he later died. He was a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities. He worked as a maintenance technician for the Washington state Department of Transportation.
