The intersection of Lee Boulevard and George Washington Way in Richland will close Friday at 2 p.m. for utility, drainage and resurfacing improvements.
The intersection will be closed through the weekend and re-open by 5 a.m. Monday.
The closure will not affect the Richland farmers market, and businesses in the area will remain open and accessible.
Road crews will work 24 hours a day to complete the improvements on the intersection, according to a release from the city of Richland on Wednesday.
