A four-car, chain-reaction crash on the blue bridge Friday afternoon caused a traffic jam on Highway 395 in Kennewick.
One driver was injured in the 4 p.m. collision, said the Washington State Patrol. The crashed blocked both northbound lanes on the blue bridge for at least 30 minutes.
The drivers had all slowed for traffic on the bridge when a 2002 Ford Excursion driven by Nathan Price, 39, of Walla Walla, rear-ended Anita Rawling's 1999 Mazda Protege, troopers said.
The 54-year-old Kennewick woman's car then struck a 2003 Toyota Corolla and a 2003 Ford Explorer.
Angela Wulff, 73, of Kennewick, was not hurt, and she was able to drive her Corolla from the scene.
Price and the driver of the Explorer, Domingo Diaz, 51, of Pasco, also were not hurt.
Rawlings was treated at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.
