Franklin County commissioners plan to meet Monday to discuss the performance of two county employees who have been on paid administrative leave since a former county manager was arrested in February.
Commissioners will meet in a closed-door session to talk about the performance of Tim Fife, county Public Works director and engineer, and Guy Walters, assistant Public Works director.
Any decision must be made in a public session.
Dennis M. Huston, the former Public Works accounting and administration director, is suspected of embezzling more than $2.8 million from the county using the name of a defunct Spokane company.
He was fired by the county but has not been charged with a crime.
The meeting is at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Franklin County Courthouse in the commission meeting room, 1016 N. Fourth Ave., Pasco.
