Trustees of the Mid-Columbia Libraries will revisit the topic of the closed library at Merrill's Corner near Eltopia.
The board of trustees closed the facility in December as part of its budget process. The board meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Keewaydin Park branch in downtown Kennewick.
"There has been feedback from residents in the community," said Kate Holloway, marketing director for the library system.
Eltopia residents and others told trustees last month how important the library was to them and they felt slighted by the closure.
Trustees have said it cost about $330 per patron to operate the branch, based on the number of people who used the facility.
The average cost across the library system is $65 per person.
