Pasco man who allegedly shot neighbor faces charges

PASCO -- Charges were filed Tuesday against a west Pasco man who allegedly shot his neighbor during a dispute last week.

Froilan Campos-Gonzalez Jr., 54, is charged with first-degree assault for the Dec. 8 shooting that left his neighbor with a gunshot wound to his stomach that caused injury to his spinal cord, court documents said.

He is expected to be arraigned Dec. 20 in Franklin County Superior Court.

Campos-Gonzalez was arrested by Pasco police after allegedly going across the street to his neighbor's home, confronting him about shooting BB's at his home, then shooting him with a pistol.

Campos-Gonzalez reportedly told police he was being choked by Greggory Warehime during the altercation, managed to push Warehime away, then fired at him when he came at him again, court documents said.

Warehime's condition wasn't available Tuesday due to federal medical privacy laws.
