Officials with the U.S. Postal Service want to hear from Tri-Citians at a meeting today about a proposal to move sorting Pasco's mail to Spokane.
Officials are considering consolidating operations to save money. Initial results support consolidating the operations in Spokane.
No decision has been made, but information about the possible move will be discussed at today's meeting.
Managers from the postal service will give an overview about why they are considering the move and what could happen if the Pasco facility closes.
They also will listen to input and concerns from the community.
