FINLEY -- Two 17-year-old boys allegedly were caught burglarizing a Finley home and later arrested when they pretended to be asleep in a car.
The resident arrived at her home at 218406 Highway 397 around 10 p.m. As she entered, a boy wearing a black hooded shirt ran out the front door, said Benton County sheriff's Sgt. Jon Law.
Sheriff's deputies, with help from gang team detectives, searched the area and found the two boys hiding in a car, pretending to be asleep.
One teen had a felony warrant and is a documented gang member, Law said.
When deputies searched him, they found jewelry taken in the burglary, he said. A LCD TV also was hidden nearby.
The teens were taken to the juvenile detention center on suspicion of residential burglary.
