Driving too fast for the conditions caused a one-car rollover accident Wednesday night, said the Washington State Patrol.
Burgess T. Crandall III, 59, of Umatilla, was driving east on Highway Interstate 82 at 5:40 p.m. when he lost control of his 2002 Toyota Tacoma pickup at the Locust Grove interchange, officers said. The truck rolled, ending up on its top.
Crandall was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center by ambulance along with his passenger, Kathy L. Woolsey-Crandall, 58, of Umatilla.
No information on their condition was available Wednesday evening.
Officers said the pickup was totaled.
