Benton Fire District 4 will serve a spaghetti feed today at the fire station on Grosscup and Harrington roads in West Richland.
Money raised from the all-you-can eat feed will go toward purchasing a thermal imaging camera to help firefighters find victims trapped in a structure fire. It also can detect fire inside walls, basements or other hidden areas.
Firefighters will be dishing out the pasta from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and youth between 4 and 11 years old, and $2 for younger children.
The fire district has 30 volunteers and 13 paid staff who cover 55 square miles, including the city of West Richland.
