Free citizenship and ESL (English as a Second Language) classes for adults will begin Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at West Side Church in Richland.
The program is every Tuesday evening and follows the Richland School District calendar.
Classes are offered for beginning through advanced language training.
The citizenship class is for people interested in exploring U.S. citizenship. It is held at the same time and will prepare students for the citizenship exam.
Child care will be available for children from preschool through elementary school and is also free.
This is the 15th year the church, located at 615 Wright Ave. in Richland, has offered the program for the community.
